C-ASTRAL Aerospace joins Perimeter Innovation Day 2026

World-class UAV technology, 4K video transmission over extreme distances – developed and manufactured in Europe.

We are pleased to welcome C-ASTRAL Aerospace to Perimeter Innovation Day 2026.

Based in Slovenia, C-ASTRAL develops and manufactures advanced unmanned aircraft systems and communication technologies for demanding civil, security and defence applications. With strong in-house development and integration capabilities, the company represents exactly the kind of European innovation we want to showcase in Maribor.

And they are bringing two particularly exciting technologies.

The SQA eVTOL combines vertical take-off and landing with up to three hours of flight endurance and supports advanced EO/IR and LiDAR payloads – opening new possibilities for surveillance, critical infrastructure protection and operations across large areas.
But sometimes the smallest technology delivers the biggest surprise.

The compact, low-power DYN Micro Datalink can transmit 4K video and telemetry, with communication ranges of up to 120 kilometres when used with a directional antenna.

Both technologies will be on display at Perimeter Innovation Day 2026 on 16 October at Hotel Habakuk in Maribor.
