Mira Technologies brings Heartbeat Detection to Perimeter Innovation Day

Mira Technologies will join Perimeter Innovation Day 2026 with a technology that quite literally detects the presence of a human heartbeat.
On 16 October in Maribor, Stelian Ilie, CEO of Mira Technologies, will introduce the MAGUS HBD Human Being Detection System and demonstrate its capabilities live on stage.
MAGUS HBD is designed to detect people hidden inside vehicles and containers. Its high-sensitivity sensors capture subtle vibrations caused by movement and heartbeats, while AI-powered algorithms distinguish relevant signals from environmental noise. The portable system can be deployed rapidly and integrated into existing checkpoint operations.
The technology is intended for border crossings, vehicle checkpoints, prisons, power plants, water treatment facilities and other critical or high-security sites where reliable detection of concealed individuals is essential.
The live demonstration will allow participants to see how heartbeat-based human detection can support faster, more efficient and more reliable vehicle inspections—without relying on large teams or complex infrastructure.
