A personal note from the organiser
Perimeter Innovation Day was born from a lifelong passion for security, innovation and the people who make this industry extraordinary.
My name is Zoltán Szilágyi, and my journey in the security industry began in 1995, when I joined the system integration company founded by my parents.
My father had already been active in the security industry since the 1980s. Besides designing and installing security systems, he also developed and manufactured his own alarm systems. Over the decades, he designed security solutions for more than a thousand financial institutions, creating a professional legacy that continues to inspire me today.
Following this tradition, I founded my own distribution company in 1999. Since 2004, my primary field of expertise has been perimeter protection and outdoor security systems. Throughout the years, together with our partners, we have contributed to numerous remarkable projects around the world. Our technologies have been deployed to protect critical infrastructure, including strategic water facilities in São Paulo, Brazil, and even a 1000 kilometre border protection system of Turkmenistan.
What I enjoy most about this profession is not only the technology itself, but also the people behind it. The friendships, partnerships and professional relationships built over the years have become an important part of my life.
This is one of the reasons why I created the Perimeter Innovation Day. It is more than a conference. It is a place where we can openly discuss the technologies, challenges and innovations that shape our industry, together with the people who share the same passion for perimeter security.
